Lisa has over 10 years experience in all areas of intellectual property law and has acted in Federal Court proceedings involving patent infringement, trade mark infringement, passing off and misleading and deceptive conduct.

Given Lisa has a strong technical background in life sciences, having completed a PhD in pharmacology and physiology, she has a specific focus on pharmaceutical patent litigation and has represented pharmaceutical company clients in a range of cases involving issues of infringement/revocation, extensions of patent term and preliminary injunctions.

The combination of Lisa's scientific background with her legal qualifications places her ideally to assist with the preparation of complex scientific expert evidence and to deal with discovery issues.

Lisa has also worked with and provided strategic advice to clients in relation to the management of their intellectual property. She has also advised on consumer law issues as they relate to the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device sectors.

Lisa maintains an active interest in the area of her scientific discipline and has also published a number of scientific papers.
