Description:

Stephen is a registered patent and trade mark attorney, and is also admitted to practice as a lawyer in New South Wales.  Prior to joining Griffith Hack in 1996, he worked as a lawyer with a major commercial law firm in Australia, working in the areas of general litigation, commercial law and intellectual property.

Stephen specialises in the patenting of inventions in the pharmaceutical, chemical, animal health and food technology fields.  With close to a decade of experience in intellectual property law, he handles all aspects of the patenting process, such as patent drafting, prosecution and opposition.  Stephen also has extensive experience in contentious matters, including patent oppositions and providing validity and infringement advice to Australian and overseas clients. 

Stephen’s clients include multinational corporations, small and large Australian companies, and individual inventors.
