Description:

Jürgen is a registered Australian trade marks attorney and lawyer. He immigrated to Australia from Germany
and joined the Griffith Hack team in 2002. He had also briefly worked at Griffith Hack in 2001, conducting
seminars to introduce the Madrid Protocol system to the firm’s professionals. He is well qualified to advise clients on Australian and German law, and assists both Australian businesses and international corporations
in obtaining, maintaining and enforcing their IP rights. In addition, Jürgen regularly speaks at industry functions and writes for various publications. His trade marks practice includes a variety of work, from trade mark registration, prosecution and infringement advice to opposition and non-use proceedings. Jürgen is also a key member of Griffith Hack’s Domain Name Disputes Group with significant experience in challenging and maintaining domain name registrations.

Jürgen uses his international law experience to assist clients with protection of their intellectual property both
in Australia and overseas. His trade mark practice includes a variety of work, from trade mark registration,
prosecution and infringement advice to opposition and non-use proceedings. He also specialises in domain
