Nick’s current work involves all aspects of patent, trade mark and design work, including advising on patentability of inventions and registrability of designs and trade marks, drafting patent specifications, filing and prosecuting Australian and overseas patent and design applications, advising on infringement issues and handling oppositions.

Nick is a registered patent and trade mark attorney with over seven years of extensive patent experience.  He is an active member of the mining, minerals and metals technology group.

Nick’s background in material science, which particularly focused on steel, has led to a long standing involvement in metal production, mineral processing, building construction and mechanical applications.  He is passionate about the critical role that intellectual property plays in business and is involved with clients, ranging from individual inventors to multi-national corporations, in the full spectrum of their intellectual property issues and requirements.
