Description:

Ida gained her initial expertise in trade marks as an Assistant Registrar at the Intellectual Property Office of
Singapore. She then joined a large firm in Singapore where she continued working in trade marks and also
branched out into copyright issues, advising and negotiating licensing and franchise contracts.

Having spent a considerable time in Singapore, Ida is conversant with the intellectual property laws in Asia.
Ida moved to Australia in 2004 and qualified as a lawyer in 2006 in Victoria. Prior to joining Griffith Hack in
2008, she worked in a specialist intellectual property firm in Melbourne from 2005 where she gained
experience in Australian trade mark law.

She has developed close business relationships with associates around the world, which provides a strong
support base for clients seeking to expand their business activities.
