Description:

Belinda has a background in biotechnology with experience in a wide range of disciplines including
molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, zoology and botany. Prior to joining Griffith
Hack, Belinda was a university researcher and taught several undergraduate courses in the life sciences.
She completed her Ph.D. on biofuels research working with international industry leaders in transgenic plant
biotechnology and publishing her research on novel nuclear and chloroplast dual-transgenic plants. Belinda
is currently completing her Master of Intellectual Property Law at Melbourne University.

Belinda specialises in the drafting and prosecution of patents in agricultural biotechnology, animal health,
immunology, nutraceuticals, stem cell technology, and a variety of gene technologies, both in Australia and
overseas. She also provides assistance with patentability and freedom to operate opinions and PBR
