Tara specialises in intellectual property law having practiced as a lawyer in England and Wales for over 6
years. During this time she advised clients on a wide range of intellectual property issues, including the
enforcement and protection of registered and unregistered trade marks, copyright, design right and patents.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Diploma in Legal Practice, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Commercial
Intellectual Property.
Tara joined Griffith Hack in 2008 after having worked in the UK specialising in contentious intellectual
property law. She is able to use the legal and commercial experience gained as a lawyer to advise and
assist clients with protecting and enforcing their brands. Tara believes that intellectual property is a precious
and valuable asset, and as a result it is important to develop an effective IP strategy, both in Australia and
overseas.
