Sally’s expertise lies in contentious and non-contentious work in relation to trade marks, anti counterfeiting, copyright, confidential information, comparative advertising, passing off and the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) (particularly Part V consumer protection legislation). She also holds significant experience in acting on behalf of clients before the Federal Court of Australia.

Throughout her career, Sally has gained experience across a diverse range of industries including, but not
limited to: Telecommunications, food and beverage, retail, fashion and footwear, media communications,
automotive and financial services.
Sally has been consistently recognised by a variety of highly regarded publications including being listed in
the ‘Guide to the World’s Leading Trade Mark Practitioners’ in each edition since 1998. Sally has also been noted in the ‘International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers (Trade Mark Practitioners), in each edition since
2002 where she was described as “a superb litigator and trade mark practitioner”. She has also been noted in Best Lawyers in Australia from its inception and is the co-author of the Australian section of the Sweet +
Maxwell publication “International Intellectual Property Litigation”.
