Andrew joined Griffith Hack in 1995 and is a registered patent attorney and registered trade mark attorney.
He is also a registered New Zealand patent attorney, which allows him to assist clients seeking New Zealand
patent protection.
Using his extensive experience and qualifications in physical sciences, Andrew enjoys gaining an in-depth
knowledge of his clients’ inventions, which he believes is essential for effective patent protection.
Andrew’s patent practice has involved a number of leading Australian inventors of optical systems, particularly
in photonics, microscopy and laser applications. He also assists inventors with the protection of newly
developed surgical devices, computer simulation systems, injection moulding techniques and precision timing devices.
Andrew’s diverse practice also includes the registration of designs and domain names for clients in Australia
and overseas, and has made a speciality of Australian design law.
