Description:

Simone specialises in maintaining and prosecuting the patent and design portfolios of many small and large
clients in the pharmaceutical and chemical fields in both Australia and overseas, and also has experience in
handling contentious matters such as patent oppositions. With her knowledge in chemistry and eight years
experience in the patent profession, Simone is well equipped to understand the new technology
developments in many chemistry-related fields. Prior to joining Griffith Hack in 2001, Simone conducted
research in the area of chiral metal amides and their use as medical imaging agents. Simone became a
registered patent and trade mark attorney in 2006.

Simone specialises in all areas of chemical and pharmaceutical patent matters. She handles patent
applications in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, agricultural and industrial chemicals, polymers,
pigments and coatings, as well as cosmetics and food chemistry.
