Description:

Joe is a registered patent attorney and uses his extensive computer networking and web design experience to assist clients with their patenting needs. Having joined the firm in 2001, he is an established part of the electrical, IT and physics group at Griffith Hack and works with clients in industries such as software, network protocols, web technologies, database systems and rich media clients and systems. He also works on patents for clients with electronic, electrical and mechanical inventions.

His areas of interest include database, interface and data manipulation technologies, with a particular interest in business method and computer implemented inventions. His economics training and previous experience managing a technology business is a great advantage.

Joe's educational and research background in nuclear physics gives him in-depth working knowledge of many technologies including vacuum and pressure systems, material science and engineering principles, electronics, data acquisition and processing, high and low level programming, and nuclear physics. He also has experience with robotics, medical devices and advanced mechanical engineering.

Joe is a founding editor of the Macquarie Law Journal, and a former editor of Jurist, a web based legal information service.
