Watermark Integration

In November 2019, we announced the integration of Watermark into Griffith Hack.

In November 2019, we announced the integration of Watermark into Griffith Hack, to operate under the Griffith Hack brand. Further to that communication we are pleased to confirm that the integration is complete, and we now operate as a single firm; Griffith Hack. The former Watermark patent attorney business is operating as GH PTM Pty Ltd and the former Watermark trade mark attorney and legal business is operating as GH Law Pty Ltd (each trading as Griffith Hack).

Very little has changed for Watermark’s clients as a result of this integration. We continue to work with you as we always have, with the same people, delivering the high-quality services you expect. However, we are now also able to offer access to an expanded team and an enhanced top-tier IP service across Australia. Details of all our team members can be found under the People section here.

If you are a client of the former Watermark business, you should have received an email indicating:

  • from 1 July 2020, Griffith Hack’s terms of engagement will apply to you;
  • our plan to move Watermark staff to our Griffith Hack offices in July. The contact details for these offices can be found here;
  • as part of a review of our standard scale of charges, historical standard rates have been adjusted to align with and reflect our new business structure; and
  • our bank account details have changed for FY21.

If you have not received an email advising these changes, please contact us via

There is nothing else that you need to do as a result of this process and we look forward to continuing to work with you as we always have.

Please do not hesitate to contact your Relationship Principal with any other queries relating to the above.
