Event Summary

The uptake of rooftop solar PV, battery storage, electric vehicles, smart energy appliances and other technologies at the distribution level are having a significant impact on the way that consumers use electricity.

These resources can provide services to different parts of the electricity system, including network businesses, the wholesale market and consumers themselves.

Griffith Hack is hosting an Australian Institute of Energy event to discuss the features of an effective distribution level electricity market and the next steps towards the empowerment of active consumers in such a market.

Tim Heberden, Director of IP Economics from Glasshouse Advisory will introduce the event.
