Patent attorney Georgina Higinbotham will be part of a panel discussing how emerging designers can successfully commercialise their original creative concepts.
The event is being hosted by the Australian Design Centre and is part of the Workshopped exhibition showing new work by furniture, lighting and object designers.
The panel will investigate the path leading from prototyping to intellectual property, contractual processes and onto how to deduce your net worth. Featuring WORKSHOPPED Director, Raymond Scott; Kobe Johns, JP Finsbury Bespoke Joiners and a panel of industry experts, the panel aims to unpack how to become a commercially successful designer in today’s market.
Admission to the event is $10.
