Griffith Hack has been highly ranked by the World Trademark Review’s 2018 list of Leading Trademark Professionals.

The firm was named in the Silver band for Enforcement and Litigation and Highly Recommended for Prosecution and Strategy.

“Although best known for its formidable patent practice, Griffith Hack is also home to an ‘excellent’ trademark prosecution practice, which boasts a sophisticated online filing platform, Amplia, which lets brand owners effectively monitor and manage their portfolios in real time,” World Trademark Review said.

Griffith Hack Principals Anne Makrigiorgos, Chris Sgourakis, Nicola Scheepers and Kellie Stonier were also named among the world’s leading trademark professionals.

It noted Anne, who also leads the firm’s trade mark practice, is an “acute strategist”, Chris specialises in fast moving consumer goods, and Nicola has a “fantastic” track record in office actions.

The publication also highlights that Kellie “develops clear, precise portfolio management strategies that pre-empt every move an opposing party might make. Her technical knowledge is really excellent and she has a profound understanding of clients practical and commercial needs.”

Anne says the rankings recognise that Griffith Hack is meticulous about ensuring the trade marks of clients are secure and that the team “vigorously protect their rights”.
