29 November 2019
We are pleased to announce that, from April 2020, Australian IP services business, Watermark, will integrate into Griffith Hack to create one combined firm operating under the Griffith Hack brand.
Both Griffith Hack and Watermark are members of the IPH Limited group and share a long history of IP service provision in Australia, strong core values and a commitment to excellence in IP services. We believe this integration will deliver a number of benefits to , our clients and our people.
Executive General Manager David Madigan, said he was proud to be welcoming the Watermark team into the Griffith Hack family.
“Watermark has a significant history within the Australian IP industry and we are committed to ensuring their heritage lives on in our collective firm. I’m thrilled that our service offering will be bolstered by the addition of a deeper pool of IP experts and confident that Watermark’s clients will benefit from our larger IP team, established systems and extended geographic footprint”.
The integration also provides enhanced career and development opportunities for both Griffith Hack and Watermark employees as part of a larger Griffith Hack business.
It is intended that Watermark’s people will co-locate in Griffith Hack’s Melbourne, Sydney and Perth offices from April 2020 and the Watermark brand will be retired at that time.
Until April 2020, Griffith Hack and Watermark will continue to operate as separate businesses, and independently with respect to the provision of attorney professional services.
