“Innovative businesses are complex, they are often trying to introduce a completely new product or service to the market, and are doing so under budgetary pressures. Clients often realise that IP plays an important part in their business’ success, but how it fits in is not always clear.”

Danny’s experiences in academia, the pharmaceutical industry and now as a patent attorney gives him a deep understanding of a client’s journey from discovery through commercialisation to market. He appreciates that a patent is often one of the first and largest expenses for an early-stage company and that transparency is key when working with clients new to IP.

Danny’s work includes everything from patent drafting to freedom to operate advice across the chemical and biotechnology industries.
