Harriet began her legal career in New Zealand where she advised clients on a variety of matters including trade mark registration, enforcement, and commercialisation; contentious intellectual property matters; privacy; data protection (including the GDPR); consumer law; and, defamation.

She also has experience advising clients on large contract and commercial disputes, litigation involving computer software and other information technology issues, name suppression, and food and beverage law. “The diversity of my legal background means that I am alive to a broad spectrum of legal issues which may be relevant to a client’s instructions.”
