Janelle Borham

Janelle Borham is a principal and patent and trade marks attorney based in Melbourne. She is also the current president of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia.

Janelle provides strategic IP advice to large corporations locally and overseas, and assists clients drafting patent specifications. She works closely with Griffith Hack’s IP Law team on patent oppositions and patent litigation before the Federal Court. 

Food science is a particular area of expertise, working with multinationals in an area that has changed significantly over the last 20 years. While this is an area of special interest for Janelle, she is equally stimulated by her work in the areas of pharmaceuticals, energy technology and polymers, amongst others.
