“Intellectual property is the bridge between cutting edge technology and practical outcomes.”

John identifies “trust” as the most important part of working with clients and delivering on their IP needs.

Whether it’s a backyard inventor or a multi-national industrial giant, securing the trust of a client is essential for providing the best solutions.

“I take time to understand the problem from the clients’ point of view, rather than simply present a pre-packaged solution,” John says.

Solving complex problems and helping inventors turn their ideas into commercial realities are what drive John professionally.

With a background in materials science in the private and research sectors, John’s experience enables him to work across multiple areas of technology.

“Materials science provides a fundamental basis for many other engineering disciplines,” he says. “All products are made out of something.”
