"Make sure the IP systems work in your favour"

Nadia Odorico’s technical world concentrates on engineering details, but she says it’s equally important to address the big picture. ‘In drafting, and infringement assessments it’s really important to be able to analyse the details, but it’s the big picture that’s essential in strategy. I put myself in the client’s shoes to see where their business is going, what they need to achieve and how the IP system can work in their favour.’

Nadia specialises in all things mechanical, from simple mechanical gadgets to complex machinery, heating systems, fluid flow and construction materials and in particular medical technology and devices. She shares her drafting skills with final year Law Masters students at the University of Melbourne where she lectures. Over the years she has built strong relationships both locally and internationally.
