“It’s critical that clients understand the value of their intellectual property in a highly competitive and crowded business environment.”
Simon has recognised the importance of IP ever since his university days studying engineering.
And it’s something he now wants to share with clients.
Simon has a strong practical background in the mechanical/aerospace sector, specifically defence engineering projects. Prior to joining Griffith Hack he worked with a major defence company with high level security clearances. Simon also has significant experience in software development.
This industry experience, coupled with his academic qualifications, gives him the ability to address client needs on all levels.
His interest in IP comes from a genuine fascination for how things work.
“I enjoy meeting with clients and hearing how they have solved a problem or need that creatively progresses the technology of the field,” he says. “It is amazing how sometimes the simplest of ideas can become highly valuable IP.”
