Yasra Saeed is a trainee patent attorney based in Melbourne.

Yasra is a chemical engineer with a background in process engineering, sustainable processing and chemical research. She is fascinated by the use of unconventional engineering processes and has worked with clients in the cleantech, mining and oil and gas sectors.

Yasra’s previous experience includes the areas of biomaterials and biofuels, minerals processing, water treatment technology and oil & gas. She is passionate about helping clients protect the value of their technology and optimise their commercialisation strategy using their intellectual property. Her work involves drafting patent specifications, providing IP advice and prosecution of Australian and international applications.

Yasra is actively involved in Griffith Hack’s ESG committee with a focus on environment and diversity & inclusion.
